Happy Giving Tuesday, everyone! That’s the day that comes after Fill A Plate With Food And Then Disappear (Thanksgiving), Dear God No (Black Friday), and The Thing You Need Isn’t On Sale (Cyber Monday). Giving Tuesday is all about lying down in a dark room and recovering from the holiday weekend the ways in which, after a harrowing weekend of capitalism, we can use our money to help others and make the Earth better.
Fortunately, you’ve come to the right place. The Neuroverse Initiative is all about making our planet and the space around it a better place to be neurodiverse—a place where we can not only survive, but thrive.
We’ve all gotten enough emails asking us for money this year, so I’ll make this one short: TNI runs on the support of small donors like you. Your money and time helps us:
Build a really cool giant robot that could fight Godzilla
Keep our student programs and resources up and running
Subsidize our neuroinclusive trainings at institutions that serve historically underrepresented populations (women’s colleges, HBCUs, etc), keeping costs low
Fund fellowships and scholarships for students to attend conferences
“Is this tax deductible?” you ask. Great news—yes! We’re an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3). But that’s not all! You can also donate your time by volunteering or even just spreading the good word (’I know a person/company/institution that would love to connect!’).
